Before coming to Ghana please check with your local community health care organization for health requirements to enter Ghana.

Make sure that you have adequate health insurance to cover you outside of your home country. Medical evacuation insurance is recommended should you need to be transported out of Ghana for medical care. (Some recommendations are listed in this section). Do not assume that this is part of your normal domestic policy.
