Jamestown is one of the oldest districts of Accra and was settled by both the British and the Dutch.  It is the site of 4 original castles and an iconic lighthouse.  The best way to see the area is as part of a walking tour organized by Collins and Nii every Saturday afternoon. The tour is interesting and informative.  Learn about the colonial history to present day, from slaves to the fishing harbour.
